Why you will love this place?
The city of Lincoln is now a modern hub, boasting a university crowned “Modern University of the Year” two years running, alongside the usual entertainment staples, from clubs and pubs to food and museums. Lincoln is however, steeped in history, and this has been in no means lost with its recent modernisation. Visitors are still able to experience the earliest version of Lincoln under the Romans when it was founded during the conquests of Nero. The castle is also a popular attraction and has one of the four copies of the Magna Carta, and equally as popular is the imposing Cathedral, which was once the tallest building in the world.
Most importantly for our student tenants perhaps, it is one of the youngest cities in the UK, has excellent travel links to other major cities and plenty of pubs and clubs. From Lovedough on Monday’s, Quack! at the SU, Entourage at Home nightclub, Superbull or Propaganda. We are also sure that hangovers won’t seem so bad alongside the university’s Brayford Pool campus, which we think is one of the most idyllic in the country.
Outside of the pubs and clubs, there’s plenty of great places to eat in the city centre from cafes to fine dining and some great shopping to be done as well. The Bomber Command centre, Doddington Hall and Gardens and Whisby Nature Park are all great choices for quieter days or when getting visits from friends/family.
No matter what your preferred activity, Lincoln will deliver the goods. We are very excited to have a presence in this marvellous city, and we very much look forward to welcoming you into our student homes here.
